I had to use this textbook for a college course, and I will admit, I ended up hardly opening it. The parts I did read were "okay," but it isn't as riveting as other things, but certainly could be far dryer than it was. If you have extra time to read, its not a bad source, but for my particular course, I almost didn't need it. Renting Intercultural Competence has been a life saver for me.
This is the first time I rented a book and I am very happy that I found this option just before the start of class. The book, itself, is a very interesting and well written textbook. Real life examples are given to accent the subjects covered. This comprehensive book is a huge help with cross-cultural communication. Well written with helpful charts and tables. Good thing I only needed to rent this book.
It came to me like that. This was exactly what I was looking for and it was as described. I am very satisfied with the price and the condition. There is not much to say about a used school book except that it is what was described and arrived in a great time period.
I rented this for a college class. I hate how this book is written and organized! It's very hard to find definitions in the text and it feels like the index in index in the back is incomplete. There are good examples and information presented in he text, but having to use this for a college class was just awful. Book came quickly and was the book pictured.
